Julian McMahon: Former Nip/Tuck star’s fortune revealed after tragic cancer death at 56
Before his tragic death at 56 last week, Australian actor Julian McMahon had earned a fortune, it has been revealed.
The net worth of the former Nip/Tuck star, who was based in the US and spent 30 years in the spotlight as a Hollywood star, was reportedly in the multimillions.
McMahon died last Wednesday after a private cancer battle, just weeks after appearing on the red carpet with Nicholas Cage to promote his last film project, The Surfer, featuring one of his finest acting performances.

“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” she said.
“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.
“We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”

McMahon leaves behind one daughter, Madison McMahon, whom he shared with ex-wife Brooke Burns.
The son of former Australian Prime Minister Billy McMahon, McMahon was best known for his role as the womanising Dr Christian Troy in Nip/Tuck, a series that catapulted his career and earned him a huge salary during its run between 2003 to 2010.
In 2007, McMahon was earning $192,00 per episode and the following year his salary doubled, according to the Daily Mail.
He also made money in real estate. In 2015, he sold a home in the Hollywood Hills for $3.3 million, earning a profit of $2.3 million.
McMahon’s career began with a 150-episode stint on Home and Away as main character Ben Lucini.
He met future wife Dannii Minogue in Summer Bay, and even starred in the music video of the singer’s hit, This Is It, recorded as a tribute to their relationship.
The marriage lasted 18 months.
On his move to the US, McMahon tried to make it big on US network television, starting with a 22-episode character arc on the NBC soap opera, Another World and later starred on Charmed between 1998 to 2006 as half-demon Cole Turner.
His biggest film role came playing the villainous Victor Von Doom, AKA Dr Doom, in the 2005 superhero movie The Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer.
