Beliebers won’t have to wait long for more new music.

On Thursday, Justin Bieber revealed that his latest album, Swag II, will be “swag II tonight at midnight,” (Saturday, Australia time).

The announcement came via Instagram, where the Canadian pop star shared photos of pink-background billboards promoting the release in Toronto, Los Angeles, New York and Shanghai.

Bieber also shared an image of himself, his wife model Hailey Bieber (nee Baldwin), and their infant son, Jack Blues Bieber.

The follow-up comes less than two months after Swag, which dropped in July.

Bieber wrote captions including, “swag II tonight at midnight” and “tonight,” alongside the posts.

Coinciding with the album’s arrival, the singer’s clothing line SKYLRK will launch a capsule collection featuring a pullover hoodie, zip-up hoodie, beanie and tank top in the same shade of pink as the album cover.

This is Bieber’s second surprise drop this year. In July, Swag arrived with just 10 hours’ notice after similar billboard teasers.

That record debuted at Number two on the Billboard 200 with 163,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Luminate. Sixteen tracks entered the Hot 100, including “Daisies,” which peaked at Number two.

Before Swag II and Swag, Bieber hadn’t released a new album since 2021’s Justice.

In 2023, Bieber sold the rights to his music - all six of his albums including hits such as Sorry and Baby - to UK-based music investment company Hipgnosis for an undisclosed sum.

Justin Bieber released the music video for his single Yukon in August, and it puts his family front and centre.

The black-and-white video, directed by Cole Bennett, shows Bieber, his wife Hailey, and their son Jack Blues enjoying time together on a yacht, capturing candid and affectionate family moments.

Clips throughout the video highlight the family’s close bond, with Bieber seen singing, dancing, and surfing, while Hailey holds Jack and the couple lovingly interact with their young son.

The Biebers chose to share footage that offers a glimpse into their family life, while still protecting Jack’s privacy.

Yukon is part of Bieber’s seventh studio album, Swag, released in July.

According to a press release, the album reflects Justin’s life as a husband and father, and brings a more personal and reflective sound to his music.

The video for Yukon further underscores this theme, with lyrics and imagery focused on family and devotion.

The couple welcomed Jack, their first child, in August 2024, and have shared glimpses of their life as parents since then.

After a four-year break from releasing full-length projects, the Canadian pop superstar dropped his highly anticipated seventh studio album on July 11.

The album is Bieber’s first since 2021’s Justice, a critically acclaimed and commercially successful release that featured chart-topping hits and marked a mature evolution in his sound.

His return to music was teased with a series of billboard ads sprawled across Los Angeles and Iceland bearing the word “Swag”, which was a hint at the album’s title.

Bieber also shared a set of photos on his Instagram story featuring his wife, Hailey Bieber and their son Jack Blues, which are part of the album’s official artwork.

A digital billboard lit up New York City’s Times Square, revealing that the album includes 20 tracks.

The exciting news comes after months of speculation around Bieber’s health.

He was forced to cancel Australian and New Zealand tour dates in 2023 after facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

Fans are hoping Bieber’s new album could mean more music or a tour.In July, Bieber posted to Instagram a video singing captioned: “Can’t wait for this liveskiiiiiiiiiiiii so fun to sinnggggggggg”, which could very much be interpreted as he’s planning a tour.
