Nikki Webster returns to Accor Stadium, performs Under the Southern Skies with her children

Nikki Webster, star of the Sydney 2000 Opening Ceremony, has returned to the stadium where she became a star, recreating her performance alongside her two children.
At a 25th anniversary event on Monday night, Webster’s iconic song Under the Southern Skies was once again performed inside the stadium that hosted the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
However, 25 years on, it wasn’t Webster who started singing; instead, her daughter, Skylah, stepped into her shoes to kick things off.

“Tonight was truly emotional – watching my baby girl shine so brightly in the middle of the stadium all on her own, then sharing the stage with my boy and experiencing it all together as a family.
