Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban not on speaking terms, relations ‘frozen’
Relations between Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are at an all time low, with revelations the pair haven’t spoken directly since divorce papers were filed in September.
All communication is strictly only through their lawyers.
“It’s not icy — it’s frozen,” one insider told celebrity reporter Rob Shuter.

In an Interview Magazine piece with Ariana Grande this week, Kidman gave a glimpse into how she’s doing after her near 20-year marriage with country music star collapsed.
When Grande asks how she is, Kidman replies simply, “I’m hanging in there”.
Those close to Kidman and Urban say she’s “heartbroken but functioning”.
“Her priority is the girls, full stop. Everything else — including Keith — can wait,” a source told Shuter.
But she is “not shutting the door forever — just for now. Talking can come later. Healing comes first,” Shuter reported in his Substack newsletter.
Rumours of the pair’s split were finally confirmed in September when Kidman filed divorce papers, formally petitioning Davidson County Circuit Court to end her marriage to Urban, 57.
The documents indicate the couple has already spent quite some time working on the split which is due to “marital difficulties and irreconcilable differences”.
The detailed agreements in the papers, for everything from custody arrangements to who gets the credit card points, suggests that the divorce had been in the works for well over a month at least.
Urban signed the parenting plan on August 29, Kidman on September 6. With Kidman named the primary parent fo the couple’s teenage daughters Sunday and Faith.
The couple are believed to been living apart since June.
