Nicole Kidman sparks romance rumours with Simon Baker after intimate moment

Nicole Kidman and an Aussie actor have been seen getting cosy, sparking romance rumours two months after finalising her divorce from Keith Urban.

Kidman was spotted holding hands with fellow Australian actor Simon Baker at a recent red carpet event.

The pair appeared together at the New York City premiere of their series Scarpetta on March 3, before reportedly remaining close at the afterparty.

Their interaction has prompted discussion, with one source saying, “Nicole and Simon’s closeness is definitely the talk of the town right now,” according to The Sun.

“They’re incredible together on screen and when you see them together in real life, that chemistry clearly wasn’t faked.”

However, those close to the pair have pushed back on the speculation.

“This is absolutely false. They’ve known each other for years and are good friends. That is it,” a source told Page Six.

Kidman and Baker have a long history, with the Oscar winner also serving as godmother to Baker’s son.

In the Prime Video thriller, Kidman plays forensic pathologist Dr Kay Scarpetta, while Baker stars as her husband, Benton Wesley.

The attention comes amid Kidman’s split from Keith Urban, with the couple finalising their divorce in January after nearly two decades of marriage.

“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source said at the time, adding that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things.”

Baker, meanwhile, separated from his ex-wife Rebecca Rigg in 2020.
