Brooklyn Beckham statement: Nicola Peltz took jab at David, Victoria Beckham day before bombshell claims

Nicola Peltz Beckham took a subtle jab at her in-laws, David and Victoria Beckham, just one day before her husband made bombshell claims about his parents.

On Tuesday, Brooklyn Beckham shared a long-awaited statement accusing his parents of press manipulation and undermining his marriage to Nicola, and even derailing his wedding day.

The 26-year-old broke his silence on family tensions, unleashing in a series of detailed Instagram Story posts, claiming his parents have relentlessly tried to destroy his marriage through media leaks and sabotage.

While his wife has stayed quiet on the matter, she took to Instagram a day before Brooklyn’s statement, sharing a mirror selfie that included a subtle stab at her in laws.

The 31-year-old model and actress posed in a sage green bra, with a faint tattoo visible on her ribs.

According to several media outlets, the tattoo is written in Yiddish and translates to “family first”.

Nicola is yet to address her husband’s lengthy statement, with the only content posted to her Instagram Story being photos of high-profile Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani who died on Tuesday.

Garavani worked with a long list of celebrities including Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Elle Macpherson, Nicole Kidman and Nicola’s model mother Claudia Schiffer.

Garavani was also the designer who made Nicola a custom wedding dress after Victoria cancelled on making a gown at the last minute, according to Brooklyn.

“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” he said in his statement.

“My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”

Tensions peaked at the couple’s Palm Beach wedding where Brooklyn said Victoria hijacked his first dance with Nicola which had been planned weeks in advance.

Brooklyn even said that weeks before their wedding day, his parents “repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name”.

“They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday and they have never treated me the same since.”

David and Victoria Beckham have not commented on the social media blasting.
