Gene Hackman’s eye-watering fortune has been revealed one week after he was found dead alongside wife Betsy Arakawa and their dog.

Their bodies were discovered on February 26 at their Santa Fe home, with police confirming on Saturday that both Hackman, 95, and his 65-year-old wife died of natural causes.

Police believe Arakawa died first and that Hackman — who was in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s — may not have been aware of her death.
