Nicole Kidman: Aussie star reveals her ‘deal-breaker’ and why Alexander Skarsgard missed the mark
The Aussie star has one rule for her male co-stars — and do not even think about breaking it.
Do not even think about locking lips with Nicole Kidman unless you’ve brushed your teeth: Even if you’re the sexiest man alive.
That mail comes straight from the horse’s mouth, with Kidman, 58, revealing her kissing icks in an interview with Las Culturistas on Wednesday.
“I cannot stand bad breath, “ Kidman admitted.

Kidman added “you could not offer me enough money” to engage in an unsanitary smooch with a co-star.
But Kidman didn’t stop there, with the Babygirl actress recalling a particularly unpleasant experience she shared with a film heartthrob while shooting HBO series Big Little Lies.

“When Alexander Skarsgard ate a felafel sandwhich before we did the scenes in Big Little Lies, I’m like, ‘No, no, no, Alex’. I’m meant to be kissing you and into you. Put away the felafel, now,’ Kidman said.
The Oscar-winning actor produced and starred on the series alongside her real-life neighbour Reese Witherspoon.
Skarsgard — one of several members of his family to make it in Hollywood — played the Aussie’s abusive husband Perry Wright in the show’s first two seasons.
The Swede told People in June 2025 that Kidman was “one of the greatest” acting partners.
“Like, wow, what a privilege to go deep and explore this very, very complicated dark relationship with Nicole Kidman,” he said.
Kidman famously split from her long-time husband Keith Urban in September 2025.
Their divorce was finalised in January of this year.
