Nicole Kidman is reportedly “consumed with anger” about the bizarre cocaine clause “slipped in” to her prenuptial agreement with Keith Urban.

Just hours after news of the power couple’s split broke on Tuesday, it was revealed that Urban, 57, is set to walk away with more than $17 million because he stayed sober during their marriage.

The prenup clause states that Kidman, 58, must pay the country singer $600,000 for every year of marriage.

However, a source close to the couple told RadarOnline that Kidman is furious he will benefit financially from a term that was meant to protect his health and wellbeing.

“Nicole feels the clause was slipped in to protect Keith, but in the end it protects his finances. She supported him through his addiction, and now she sees him benefiting from it. That has left her feeling deeply betrayed,” the source said.

Another insider told the outlet that the large payout feels like “rubbing salt into the wound of their break-up”.

“Keith qualifies for a huge payout because he remained sober. Nicole is glad he stayed on that path, but she resents that the payoff comes out of her pocket,” they said.

The prenuptial agreement — which was signed before their 2006 marriage — included the clause because of Urban’s serious struggles with drug and alcohol addictions.

Urban has publicly credited his soon-to-be ex-wife with helping him overcome his addictions, speaking openly on the Oprah Winfrey show in 2010 about the moment Kidman held an intervention and encouraged him to go to rehab.

“That’s the point right there where she really should’ve just walked,” Urban said.

“I’m just so glad she didn’t, and she made a decision to turn around and initiate ultimately this intervention, and it was done in such a way that the love in that room at that moment was just right. I was like, ‘Put the cuffs on, let’s go.’”

Kidman officially filed for divorce on Tuesday, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for ending their nearly two-decade-long marriage.
