“I suffered three miscarriages in the space of 12 months, including one at 11 weeks and another devastating loss at 20 weeks,” Melina said.
“There is so much self blame and guilt associated with miscarriage.
“I often blamed my body and felt like I was letting us down.”
Melina and Jonathan turned to IVF in 2024 and were incredibly thankful that it worked.

She has been open and honest about her fertility experience in a hope it will help other couples who are struggling to not feel so alone.
“I think it’s important to talk about the topic and the reality of trying to grow a family. It’s not always easy,” she said.
“Fertility issues can affect anyone.”

Melina said the couple feel so “lucky and grateful” to have Clover in their arms and are excited to now be a family of four.
“Our family is now complete and it’s just the best feeling,” she said.
