Netflix star Criscilla Anderson has left her friends, family and fans heartbroken after announcing her own death at just 45.

The dancer, who appeared in a Netflix docuseries about the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and 2010 reality show Country Ever After alongside her ex-husband, country musician Coffey Anderson, wrote her own death notice before she passed away.

The emotional farewell was shared posthumously on Instagram by Anderson’s close friend Lindsey, who confirmed her death on December 4, following a seven-year battle with cancer.

Lindsey was by Anderson’s side until the very end and said: “These are her words, written from her heart”.

“My sweet community, if you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus — peacefully and surrounded by love,” Anderson wrote.

“Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment.

“I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone ... I’m Home.”

A hip hop dancer who performed with Britney Spears, Rihanna and Snoop Dogg, Anderson was first diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018.

She was declared in remission in 2021, but the cancer returned the following year.

At the time, the reality TV star told People the chance of recurrence was “very, very high”.

“That’s why it’s always been important for me to not only celebrate all the victories but prepare my mind for a bad scan, which takes us right back to the drawing board,” Anderson said in the February 2022 interview.

“It’s almost like I have to treat the cancer like a chronic disease.”

On November 16, Lindsey, who later shared Anderson’s final message, posted a difficult update on her friend’s health.

“Today, an MRI of the brain was done to see if her symptoms were from a stroke or if the cancer had spread ... and with heavy hearts, we learned it is in fact cancer,” she wrote, confirming the disease was advancing.

Despite the devastating news, Lindsey described Anderson as “the strongest human I’ve ever met” and said she was still fighting with “a grit and grace that humbles us all”.

Anderson leaves behind three children — Ethan, 14, Emmarie, 12, and Everleigh, 9 — as well as her step-daughter Savannah, 17.

In her death announcement, the proud mother spoke directly to her children.

“Ethan, you made me a mum. I’m still beside you, cheering you on,” she wrote.

“Savannah, my bonus girl — you were a gift God knew I needed.

“Emmarie, my Jesus-loving dancer — keep dancing through every season.

“Everleigh, my bright spark — chase your dreams boldly and without fear.”

Anderson told her children she would always watch over them and asked her friends and family to hold them close.

Her ex-husband, from whom she separated in 2022, also paid a sweet tribute.

“Criscilla defined strength and fighter like no other person on the planet,” the singer wrote on Instagram.

“Heaven gained a star today.

“So, dance your heart out on the beach in heaven.”
