Who dies? Cash and Eden’s Home and Away wedding set to end in tragedy

Home and Away fans will need to brace themselves when fan favourites Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) and Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) say ‘I do’ next week.
Because in true soap style, tragedy is set to strike on the couple’s big day.
“Without giving too much away, I would say that, sadly, the Bay is going to lose one of their faves,” Panozzo told The Sunday Times.

Now it has been revealed that the tragic events will unfold during this week’s much-anticipated wedding episodes — but still no word on who dies.
“As night falls, the celebrations are in full swing, as the newlyweds’ nearest and dearest come together to dance, toast, and revel in their happiness,” a Seven publicist said.
“But as Cash and Eden embark on the first moments of their new life together, one of the Bay’s most loved residents will take their last breath.”

Panozzo, who has been on the show since 2022, has cemented herself as a firm favourite among fans.
She says viewers are in for a treat when the dramatic episodes air.
“(The wedding) has definitely been a long, long time coming, and I think there’s high anticipation in the air,” she said.

“It’s not a Home and Away wedding unless there’s drama — you’ve gotta have the drama.”
Soap veterans Tammy MacIntosh and Aaron Jeffery join the long-running show as guest stars for the special episode as Eden’s parents, Deb and Jimmy, with former Stingers and The Flying Doctors star Peter Phelps stepping in to play Cash’s foster dad, Gary.
“Working with those legends was just amazing,” Panozzo said.

“They are so much fun. It felt like we were on a school camp, away together and hanging out.
“They are such legends of the craft, and you’re constantly learning from them, but they are also just beautiful humans.
“The vibe was just great. And when we weren’t filming, we were hanging out and having lots of chats and doing crazy dances — it was heaps of fun.”
The dramatic storyline will play out this week on Home and Away.
Home and Away airs 7pm Monday-Thursday on Seven and 7Plus
