Penelope Cruz has turned back the clock in stunning style for the cover of Vogue Hong Kong in a massive boost for Chanel’s new collection.

The shoot, which included several black-and-white images in which the sultry Spanish actress evoked Sophia Loren with a voluminous dramatic hairstyle, largely featured swimwear from Chanel’s new cruise collection.

The swimwear styles were simple and bold, with a belted white figure-hugging one-piece with a black bow, under a Tweed blazer in one shot, and a black-and-white number complemented by a number of pearl necklaces.

Other shots included Cruz lending her enviable figure to a black bodysuit and leather trousers along with a black and white trim cardigan and a pair of ordinarily dressed down dungarees and jacket, if not for a Chanel brooch and trademark logo-laden necklace.

The All About My Mother star has long been associated with the iconic French fashion house.

“It’s been many years together and I love working with them,” Cruz recently told Style magazine.

“I know people who’ve been working at Chanel for 30 years or longer and that says a lot.”
