She revealed the news in a series of black-and-white photos, showing off her baby bump while sitting clad in a bikini and straw hat.

Smith, her husband and their son rested their hands lovingly on her belly, with the family dog Ari adding his paw to the collection.

“Harvey’s going to be a big brother,” the caption simply read.

On Monday morning, she added via an Instagram story that she had been “dying to share it with you all” and teased that fans could find out more via her podcast with business partner Laura Henshaw, KICPOD.

“I was so excited to get the news out there but I’m sure there are a lot of questions about it,” she said.

“So unbelievably grateful to be carrying another bubba.”

Fitness star Steph Claire Smith has blurred son Harvey's face.

In a snippet of the podcast, posted to Instagram, Smith makes the “exciting announcement”.

“It feels so right and so good,” she says.

“I know I’ve spoken about it before on here about that question that you get asked as soon as you’ve had one kid, like, ‘when you going to have another one?’

“Early on I got straight onto birth control as soon as I could cause we were just like, ‘one is fine for now’.

“We weren’t planning on kind of popping them out.

“But I will say I did kind of envision us having more than one, but we just weren’t really sure when that was going to feel right.

“Then there was even a period where probably just over a year ago, particularly with Josh because we were going through some stuff with Harvey that was really challenging, he was almost like, ‘I don’t know if I can have another ... this is really hard’.

“That was really hard as well for me to hear because I was like, ‘I’m dying to have another one what do you mean?’”

The latest daily update came after Smith explained she was reducing the amount of posts in which her three-year-old son’s face would appear on her social media.

She said in October via her Instagram stories their son was now “at an age where he is not always in our care and he is looking like a little boy”.

“He is a lot more recognisable,” she said.

Smith said the decision came after fans had approached the family in public and uttered Harvey’s name.

“And that’s very confusing for a young boy.”

With Harvey set to begin school soon, they decided to try to avoid posting images of him online and not show his face when they did.

“That is our decision as his parents,” Smith said.

“It absolutely baffles me how people feel like they can absolutely chime into your life and your choices.

“I understand that there are photos and stuff of him up there from the past.

“Our intention was not to erase him completely from the internet.

“It was to avoid putting up anything from now as he’s growing into, as he looks like a little boy.”

She said that regardless of whether her fans agreed with the decision she was “so sick” of the “judgement”.

“If it’s not what you would do, that’s fine,” Smith went on.

“I’ve been avoiding putting content up off his face and that’s been fine.”
