Arnott’s said its Tim Tam research and development team took the wild craving for the unique bickie flavour on board and after a “dedicated development process” they have answered the call.
“We love getting behind an April Fool’s prank, and dreaming up new ways to tap into Australia’s love of Tim Tam,” marketing manager Rebecca Chan said.
“But following the overwhelming number of comments and requests, we knew we had to bring Tim Tam inspired by Jatz to the shelf and make it available for every Aussie to enjoy.”
The new biscuit combines the best bits of Australia’s two favourite biscuits into one for its 60th anniversary celebrations — the rich, sweet chocolate we love in a Tim Tam, and the salty flavour and crunch of a Jatz cracker.
The Tim Tam inspired by Jatz is “one of the many surprise and delight moments” that Tim Tam will announce throughout 2024 for its 60th anniversary celebrations.
The new flavour will be available at Coles supermarkets from late April, from $5 a pack.
