A viral frozen treat has been pulled off supermarket shelves in Perth following an urgent recall over health concerns.

Family Select Pty Ltd have issued a recall on their Frozen Sorbet over an undeclared allergen for milk.

It affects their popular 75g product sold at Spudshed stores and online.

The Mango, Strawberry and Lychee flavours that have the best before date up to and including June 22, 2027 are being recalled .

“Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” Food Standards Australia said in a statement.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”

Anyone who bought the item and could be affected are being advised to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
