Oz Lotto: One ticket scoops up whole $70 million jackpot

One lucky ticket has scooped up the entire $70 million prize in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw.
The ticket — purchased in the eastern states — was the only ticket to match all numbers required for the eye-watering division one prize.
Another 41 Aussies — including two WA residents — pocketed division two prizes, each taking home $24,374.50.

The wins come after two West Aussies joined the millionaires club at the weekend.
The winning tickets — sold at Northam Central Newsagency and The Lucky Charm Pinjarra — were each worth $1.6 million.
As of Monday, no one had come forward to claim the prizes, meaning there were three outstanding tickets in WA worth more than $1 million, with a ticket bought at Warnbro News And Gifts scooping $1.2 million in last Saturday’s draw.
“There are now three division one prizes, each worth more than $1 million, somewhere in WA, and we are waiting to welcome the owners of these tickets to Lotterywest Winner’s Room,” Lotterywest spokesman James Mooney said.
“Saturday’s result means we are home to 21 division one winners so far this year, which we hope continues to grow following Tuesday’s $70 million OZ Lotto draw.”
