Ash Barty’s put her South Yarra, Melbourne, townhouse on the market for $1.85 million

Retired tennis pro Ash Barty and golfer husband, Gary Kissick, are selling their South Yarra townhouse with a price guide of $1.85 million to $2 million.
According to public records, Barty purchased the home in 2022 for $1.88 million.
The South Yarra property was used as a Melbourne base for the sporting couple, who reside in Queensland with their young son Hayden.

After a Christmas Day announcement that Barty and Kissick were expecting their second child, the couple decided to sell the Melbourne bolthole.
The 68A Nicholson Street property has been renovated by Barty and features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and off-street parking.
The interior is clean and white with European Oak floors and plantation shutters.

A new kitchen features Fisher & Paykel appliances and enjoys a prime north-facing position.
The main bedroom is equipped with built-in robes and an ensuite. A second bathroom features a freestanding bathtub.

The sale is being managed by agents Nathan Waterson, Lily Keating and Michael Armstrong from Jellis Craig Stonnington with an auction scheduled for March 1.
The townhouse is close to cafes, shops, restaurants, and multiple public transport options.
It is zoned for popular local schools, including South Yarra Primary School, and close to many private secondary schools.
During her career, Barty was ranked No.1 for women’s singles and No.5 for doubles. She has won the French open, Wimbledon and the Australian Open.

In 2020, she was named Young Australian of the Year.
After winning the Australian Open singles title in 2022, Barty retired from tennis at the age of 25.
In an interview with former doubles partner Casey Dellacqua, a tearful Barty said that she’d “given absolutely everything”.

The townhouse at 68A Nicholson Street, South Yarra, is listed for sale by Nathan Waterson, Lily Keating and Michael Armstrong from Jellis Craig Stonnington. The price guide is $1.85 million to $2 million.
