As he awaits sentencing, the South Coast home of convicted rapist and former Kiama MP Gareth Ward has seemingly been withdrawn from the market.

As of earlier this week, the home was either no longer listed on various online property platforms or was listed as being off the market.

This follows a recent reduction in the asking price for the home.

There wasn't an advertised guide for the property - located at Meroo Meadow, near Nowra - when it was listed for sale earlier this year.

An asking price of $1.3 million was later released, followed by "offers invited" and an asking price of $1.2 million.

In July, the now former NSW MP was found guilty of four charges of the sexual abuse of two men, aged 18 and 24.

The 44-year-old will be sentenced on Wednesday.

The selling agent for his home, Bianca McMillan from Integrity Real Estate Nowra declined to comment on Tuesday when asked about the home no longer being listed online.

Ward's legal battle has reportedly cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Ward's resignation from parliament triggered a byelection in the state seat of Kiama.

Labor claimed victory in the byelection to replace Ward, with candidate Katelin McInerney emerging as the winner.

Built in 2007, according to records, Ward's home was described as being "immaculately presented and thoughtfully designed", and a "true entertainer's delight".

The home is located a short drive to the Princes Highway, and is within access of amenities, transport and shopping.

The four-bedroom home sits on 650 square metres. It features a sizeable study; a large central kitchen with gas cook top, electric oven, island bench with sink and stainless steel appliances; a large living and dining area; a separate family room, offering a place for formal dining, sports or rumpus; and a double lock-up garage with internal access.

Cotality records show Ward bought the home in October 2011 for $450,000. At the time, the home was sold after 26 days on the market.

The now ex-MP faced a nine-week trial, which started in late May. He pleaded not guilty to sexual intercourse without consent and three counts of indecent assault.

On July 25, jurors handed down their unanimous verdict of guilty on all counts after deliberating for three days. The offence of rape carries a maximum penalty of 14 years' imprisonment.

Despite being charged with the offences in 2022, Ward was re-elected to the seat of Kiama in 2023.

Following his conviction, Ward has indicated he will appeal the jury's decision.
