Former pro surfer, turned developer, Owen Wright and his wife, singer Kita Alexander, are selling their Byron Bay beach house with a price guide of $6.5 million.

Surrounded by some of the region's best beaches, the two-storey home embodies classic Australian coastal style with luxury amenities.

Located on Daniels Street, a pocket known as the 'golden grid', the home is described in the listing as "an elegant expression of Byron's signature barefoot luxury".

Designed by Hogg & Lamb, this is the couple's first project from their development company Paradiso Property.

According to the 'about' section on the website, the Olympic bronze medallist was inspired to create the holiday home development group after many years travelling the world.

"Travelling the world he has stayed in many beautiful holiday homes. Inspired, he wanted to provide holidayers in Byron Bay with his own luxury, architecturally designed accommodation."

Teaming up with property development group Burke Urban, Wright bought the whole block on Daniels Street and built four houses.

Number two is now up for sale, giving buyers a chance to live within a stone's throw of the iconic Clarkes Beach.

In a post on his Instagram page, Wright shared his excitement at listing the property.

"Really excited to announce that the last house of this development is on the market!," he wrote.

"It all started as a dream and its been an absolute pleasure working alongside a great team to bring this to life."

Set on a plot just under 400-square-metres, the property features four bedrooms, three bathrooms and secure parking for two cars with a Tesla battery.

The first floor features all four bedrooms, each with built-in-robes, three bathrooms and a family retreat.

A large master suite includes a walk-in-robe, ensuite and private balcony.

On the ground floor is a private living room at the front of the house, which leads to an open-plan kitchen with butler's pantry and dining room.

Floor-to-ceiling glass doors lead out onto a north-facing garden and mineral pool, as well as a covered alfresco area and barbecue zone.

The home has been designed with a palette of natural materials including blackbutt floorboards and stone benchtops.

The home is a short walk to the beach, the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse walk and all of the best restaurants, boutiques and cafes the town has to offer.

2 Daniels Street, Byron Bay is currently listed for sale by Bryce Cameron and Susan Whyte from Cape Byron Property. The price guide is $6.5 million.
