Peter Dutton set for multi-million dollar payday with family farm up for sale

Former opposition leader Peter Dutton is selling his luxurious family farm in Queensland in what will likely be a multi-million dollar payday.

Dutton purchased the Dayboro property amid the COVID pandemic in August 2020 for $2.1 million and could now pocket millions more.

Listed for sale by Vicki Pain from Ray White, the property is scheduled to go to auction on December 12 at 10am.

The home is known as 'Juffs Farm' and according to the listing "carries a rich rural legacy."

"Once home to over 100 dairy cows and later supporting thriving beef cattle operations, this property now presents an exceptional canvas for horse enthusiasts, cattle producers, or those seeking a private rural retreat of rare distinction."

Roughly an hour north of Brisbane, the home is set on 68 hectares of land with 800 metres of creek frontage.

The Duttons have completed a renovation on the six-bedroom Queenslander, which has resulted in an extension that is modern and light-filled.

In a video Ms Pain stated that the renovation had been "done to perfection."

"A lot of care, respect, and detail has been put into this property. The owner has carefully preserved and renovated the original Queenslander," she said.

"They've engaged an architect and what they've been able to create here, an entirely new wing that's truly fitting to the Queensland lifestyle.

The new wing features a spacious living room with a hand-crafted stone fireplace as the centrepiece.

"Each stone has been sourced from the property and hand selected to create this masterpiece," said Ms Pain.
