Beauty entrepreneur and influencer Eleanor Pendleton has put her charming Terrigal cottage on the market.

Originally built in 1926 by Mackinley Pickett of the Picketts Valley Family, the white weatherboard home has been renovated by the Gritty Pretty founder and her husband.

"We lovingly restored and renovated this cottage about four or five years ago now and it's just been such a beautiful joy and gift to our family," Pendleton said in the LJ Hooker video.

As part of the renovation, 'Mackinley Cottage" was given new cladding, timber floors were restored, a herringbone-pattern brick patio was added, as were French doors and colonial-style windows.

The home was painted a fresh white, with the addition of feature lighting and new bathrooms.

Ideal as a family home or a weekender with guests, the property features four bedrooms, including one with an ensuite, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen with premium appliances and a light-filled living room.

Sitting on a 1511-square-metre block, and backing onto a bush reserve, Pendleton says the family love the "beautiful acreage feel without the acreage maintenance."

"Our kids absolutely love running through the garden and running through the vegetable garden and eating mulberries off the tree."

Previously an orchard, the garden was redesigned by landscape designer Mark Hill.

"The garden just has such a beautiful energy and soul to it," Pendleton said. "It's what we fell in love with first about the property."

The property still features mature fruit trees including bananas, lemons, oranges, finger lime, and a mulberry tree, as well as a veggie garden.

Offering plenty of outdoor space for entertaining, the living room leads out onto a decked balcony with views of the garden.

There is also a seated firepit area, secure two-car garage with workshop, and carport.

When sharing the elements of the home she'll miss most, Pendleton made mention of the garden and the indoor fireplace.

"Sitting in the front garden in the sunshine, making some pizzas for dinner, having our friends over," she said. "I'll also miss lighting a fire in the middle of winter and just sitting around the fireplace with a glass of wine."

Currently listed for sale by Matthew Farrugia and Harry Gray from LJ Hooker Terrigal, an auction is scheduled for November 1 at 10am.

In an Instagram post, Pendleton shared with her followers that it was "the most special home, filled with lifelong memories" and it was ready for its "next chapter with new owners."

"It's just such a beautiful property that I think can be enjoyed by any family or someone who wants to come up to the central coast for the weekend," she said.
