Jetstar will put more than 115,000 flights on sale with prices as low as $38 for Australians looking for a cheap getaway.

The airline has made a major change to its sales schedule, scrapping its Christmas Sale in favour of an ‘Early Easter Sale’.

Those looking for domestic flights from January to mid-December 2026 or international flights from January to late March next year can expect to pick up a bargain.

The cheapest domestic flights run from $38 from Sydney to Ballina Byron, $56 from Gold Coast to Sydney, or $57 from Newcastle to Melbourne.

A tropical getaway overseas could be within reach for many Aussies, with flights to Bali offered from $149 from Perth, $199 from Melbourne, $209 from Adelaide or $229 from Brisbane.

The sale kicks off from 12.01am on Thursday (or midday Wednesday for Club Jetstar members) and will run until Monday 15 December, unless flights sell out.

Jetstar chief executive Stephanie Tully says that alongside the sale, they have made sure their staff are ready for a big travel season.

“This Christmas and end of year holiday period is our biggest yet – this year we’ve added more destinations to our network, welcomed new aircraft and we’re getting ready for our busiest summer of flying ever,” she said.

“We’ve got extra team members on the ground and in the air to get our customers on their way safely and on time.”
