Four arrested as pro-Palestine protesters clash with police

Pro-Palestine protesters have gathered in an attempt to “blockade” an arms expo at a Sydney convention centre.

The ICC is hosting the three-day Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition, principally sponsored by the NSW government and Investment NSW.

The event is expected to bring together a vast assortment of groups, from weapons manufacturers like BAE Systems, to KPMG, universities, and civilian manufacturing.

By 6.30am, the area on the fringe of the CBD had filled with protesters and police.

By 8am, four people had been arrested.
