“He’s turned out to be a good choice,” Trump said of his running mate. ‘I took a little heat at the beginning but I knew that his brain was a good one, about as good as it gets.

“It’s the greatest country and potentially the greatest country in the world by far, and right now we are going to work very hard to get that back.”

Let’s ‘Make America Great Again’

“This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to Make America Great Again,” Trump said.

“And in addition to having won the battleground states of North Carolina, I love these places. Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

“We are now winning in Michigan, Arizona, Alaska, which would result in us carrying at least 315 lateral votes, but that... But as much is here doing what the networks did or whoever called it, because there was no other path. There was no other path to victory. “

‘We’re going to help our country heal’

Donald Trump began his victory speech by thanking his many supporters and sharing he would, “help the country heal”.

“We have thousands of friends in this incredible movement. This was a movement like no-one has ever seen before. And frankly, this was I believe the greatest political movement of all time, there’s never been anything like this in this country and maybe the earth.

“And now it is going to reach a new level of importance because we are going to help our country heal. Help our country heal, we have a country that needs help and it needs help very badly.

“We are going to fix our borders, we are going to fix everything about our country. We made history for a reason tonight and the reason is going to be just that.”

Crucial swing state Pennsylvania projected for Trump

The crucial swing state of Pennsylvania has been projected for Donald Trump.

The projection puts Trump within breathing distance of the White House. Its 19 electoral college votes get him to 265 overall, just short of the 270 required to win the presidency.

Trump is leading in multiple states that are yet to be called, destroying hopes of the “blue wall” that Harris needs to stay in the presidential race.

The former President is reportedly now at the Palm Beach Convention Center and is preparing to speak to his supporters.
