There are no more second chances tonight as minor premiers Sydney host Port Adelaide for a spot in the grand final.

Port have won their last eight against Sydney including a remarkable 112-point belting in round 21 which was the last time the Swans tasted defeat.

Will they make it nine-straight to finally make it to a grand final or will the Swans use their home deck and crowd to get back into another decider?

Relive all the action live!

The Chad

“I can’t be more proud of the boys to dig in and show what we did tonight,”

“We just had a few clear points we wanted to hit sometimes we over complicate it for ourselves,

On 2022

“Whichever team we play against next week the grand final is a different beast everyone is a lot hungrier

“We have to soak up the whole week and soak it up with your mates.

On Heeney

“it’s been an absolute pleasure watching him, to have him and all the other boys around us the stuff they can do is second to none.”

The key points from tonight's clash

Heeney speaks

“I can’t wait for the grand final”

“It should be exciting we’re a different side then from 2022 and it could be redemption against Geelong next week.”

Finished with 24 dispsoals six clearances and two goals.

FULL TIME Sydney 14.11 (95) Port Adelaide 8.11 (59)

Eight straight wins? Didn’t mean anything when it really counted as the Swans smashed a below par Port. The only questions mark over the Swans coming into the match was the effectiveness of their full forwards but Amartay and McDonald offered plenty before an ankle ended the latter’s night early. Port Adelaide just a bit too fumbly and wasteful going forwad despite their fight aroud the ball.

Time the only concern now

This game has been done for a while but the clock is almost done. It’s been an slmost perfect game from the Swans barring McDonald’s ankle

Rozee kicks a beauty on the run

It’s come all to late but for the first time tonight, the Power has kicked multiple goals in a row. This one from Rozee who has a beautful finish on the run from 50m.

Boak gets one

He’s had some poor moments amomgst some good one tonight and he gets a goal in his 371st game.

Heeney has another

This game is done but that doesn’t mean Sydney are. Heeney gets a free after Burton blocks his run and the margin is only growing. He’s had 22 disposals to go with five clearances and his two goals.

Sydney chants are ringing out around the SCG.

McDonald misses

The WA boy is back out there which is good news and he takes a mark inside 50 but misses to the left. But he runs straight back to the doctors on the bench. He was dropped before the grand final in 2022 is it yet more heartbreak for the Coorow Latham boy?

He’s been subbed out and Robbie Fox is on.

Fourth quarter underway

What will we see from the Power here?

Logan Evans kicks a behind while running through on goal.
