There are no more second chances tonight as minor premiers Sydney host Port Adelaide for a spot in the grand final.

Port have won their last eight against Sydney including a remarkable 112-point belting in round 21 which was the last time the Swans tasted defeat.

Will they make it nine-straight to finally make it to a grand final or will the Swans use their home deck and crowd to get back into another decider?

On Port’s record

The alst time these two sides played it was a 112-point belting by Port for their eight stright win over the Swans. John Longmire was asked about what it is that Port does that the Swans find difficult which he answered with a straight bat.

“they’re a good team,”

“there’s nothing really specific about it but this is only the second time we’ve played them here in Sydney.

No late changes

Both sides go in as named.

Robbie Fox is the sub coming in for Callum Mills while Ryan Burton and Charlie Dixon are back for Port in place of Todd Marshall and Will Lorenz

Welcome

Hello and welcome to our coverage as Sydney takes on Port Adelaide in the first preliminary final.

The Swans are coming off a week break after their remarkable comeback against GWS while Port hope to continue their winning streak over the Swans after an emotional triumph over Hawthorn.

The Swans are heavy favourites at home but the Power have had the number recently in what should be a fascinating contest.
