AFL: West Coast will take on not just Collingwood at the MCG but also 90,000 Collingwood fans as Scott Pendlebury becomes the games record holder.

Bo Allan replaced Jack Hutchinson who was injured again last week while Collingwood get Darcy Cameron, Darcy Moore and Patrick Lipinski back.

However, West Coast, who have adopted the name Waalitij Marawar for Sir Doug Nicholls Round, will bring some confidence to the MCG after upsetting the Giants last week.

Can the Eagles steal the show? Follow all the action in our live blog to find out.

Time for trust

The Eagles have been caught sending to many at the ball and not trusting each other to do their jobs.

Ginbey needs to let himself off a touch and trust Young and Bazzo to kill the ball in the air so he can cover on the ground and potentially launch an attack.

The forwards also need to give themselves some more space.

It comes as Roan Steele gets one for Collingwood after he gets a throw from Josh Daicos.

3QT: Collingwood 72, West Coast 61

The Eagles were nearly down and out as the Pies shot out to a 29-point lead but fought it back to as narrow as 10 points.

Reid sparked some life in the back part of the quarter while Milan Murdock is giving them attack.

But Daicos is the man standing in their way.

He has 30 touches and two goals.

Also, Eagles fans may well be pointing to the free kick count here with it sitting at 21-13 after the Pies at one stage had more than double.

Door open?

Champion has his second major for the quarter and the Eagles are back in this contest.

West Coast are showing good maturity after the Pies got a hold of them for five minutes.

Reid has also lifted again in the last five minutes.

Yeo again

The Eagles get two in a row for the first time with Kelly delivering a brilliant kick forward to Yeo.

It’s pretty much the first good entry West Coast have had all day.

The vet duly sinks the set shot.

Even stevens

Almost all of the team metrics are neck-a-neck.

However, the big difference is inside 50 effciency.

West Coast sit at 36.2 per cent while Collingwood are at 62.9.

Cool head

Murdock wins the free kick for being tackled without the ball after dominating Josh Daicos all day.

He nails the set shot and gives the Eagles a way back into the game.

Danger time

The Pies are flying.

They’ve made the most of a soft free kick reversal in the goalsquare and have made the Eagles look as young as they are.

Pies fans are getting loud but the Eagles’ midfield need to get back in the game.

Bang, bang

The Pies start the second half with their third goal in a row.

West Coast need to heat check them sooner rather than later and Champion supplies it with a remarkable wobbler from the pocket that floats through for a goal.

WAFL update

Brandon Starcevich made his first appearance as an Eagle and Cooper Duff-Tytler was given his first WAFL run.

However, it wasn’t enough for the Eagles to take down East Fremantle in a 27-point defeat.

BIG OUT!

Darcy Moore has been ruled out of the rest of the match after injuring himself in a ruck contest against Bailey Williams.
