West Coast and Fremantle’s dealing on Tuesday has opened the door for plenty more trade action on Day 3.

After Liam Reidy and Malcolm Rosas Jr locked in their moves, the Eagles and Dockers found a way to get a complicated three-club trade off the ground to pave the way for securing their main targets in Brandon Starcevich and Judd McVee respectively.

What action will take place on Wednesday? Stay across all the news and developments from Day 3 here!

DONE DEAL: Flanders heads to Saints

Sam Flanders is now a Saint!

The prolific Sun is heading south in exchange for Pick 7. He played 89 games for Gold Coast across six seasons, and polled 12 Brownlow votes last year.

It potentially gives Flanders a greater look-in to midfield time, and continues an extremely busy off-season for the Saints.

They’ve already picked up Tom De Koning and Jack Silvagni as free agents, and are eyeing Liam Ryan and Leek Aleer as the trade period rolls on.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to day 3 of the trade period!

We had more action than expected yesterday, with the Dockers playing a key role in things. First, they locked in a morning deal for Liam Reidy, and then, they played a part in unlocking West Coast’s deal with Brisbane - that will also pave the way for Freo bringing in Judd McVee.

We’ll see where things head today, but there’s already a deal in the works...
