Jack Darling says he still has some dominant footy left in him as he looks to extend his career at North Melbourne.
An off-field move
Geelong have appointed a new high-performance manager in Desmond O’Sullivan.
“We welcome Des to Geelong Football Club, he comes to the club with a wealth of knowledge and experience in AFL high performance,” said Cats footy boss Andrew Mackie in a statement.
“We’re looking forward to having Des oversee our physical performance and medical teams and believe he will be an excellent addition to our football program.”
Interestingly his last role was as strength at conditioning coach at the Bulldogs where Bailey Smith lies.
Eagles lodge paperwork for Jack Graham

Simmo reaches out to McQualter
Andrew McQualter was on Trade Radio earlier this morning and revealed Adam Simpson reached out to him days after taking on the job.
Cats clawing for Smith
Bailey Smith will end up at the Cats but how he gets there remains to be seen. Geelong are offering their first round, pick No.17, but the Dogs want a second-round selection thrown in as well.
It’s also worth noting that pick 17 is more like pick 21 when academy and father-son selections come through.
But the Cats have the upper hand with Smith out of contract and could walk through to the Cats through the draft.
“Bailey has been spending a little bit of time in Geelong over the past couple of years and likes the idea of spending more time down there,” Geelong football boss Andrew Mackie said.
“On field clearly he has some assets but I think without going into too much detail he gives us flexibility from an on-field point of view.
