Fremantle are out for redemption after a shock defeat at the hands of Melbourne last week.

However, their defensive frailties will be put to the ultimate test by the Crows who boast Taylor Walker, Riley Thilthorpe and Izak Rankine.

Can Fremantle return to winning ways or will Adelaide spoil the party?

Farewell!

Justin Longmuir issued the rally cry during the week and his team replied in good style.

Fremantles’ pressure was as good as it’s been all year tonight and meant the Crows never held a lead.

They have a big month ahead starting with St Kilda at Marvel Stadium next week.

We will be back on Sunday when West Coast face a grudge clash with bullies Hawthorn.

Until then, farewell.

Arthur Leggett Medal winner

It will surprise no one that Andrew Brayshaw has claimed the first-ever Arthur Leggett Medal.

He was simply head and shoulders above the pack tonight.

The Dockers have bounced back in strong fashion and have set the bench-mark for the pressure they need to play with for the rest of the season.

Their pressure was elite, especially in the first half, keeping the Crows on the back foot all night.

Brayshaw continued his herculean efforts with an incredible 37 touches alongside five tackles and six clearances.

Serong and Young also provided grunt through the middle while Ryan and Cox produced their best performances of the season.

Pearce had Walker kick a couple of late goals but his bravery and defensive IQ were pivotal throughout the contest.

It sets up a huge month for Fremantle and shows they can compete with the top eight.

Uncomfortable finish

The Dockers have given up two in a row and Reid missed a simple 25-metre set shot in between them that would have sealed the deal.

Walker gets the latest Crows major from a 40-metre set shot and it leaves an uncomfortable final four and half minutes for Fremantle.

Narkle activated!

Narkle nearly had his first goal in purple with his first kick but the ball smashed into the post.

He had his first touch just seconds earlier with a handball through the corridor.

Dudley has been subbed out of the game after getting just four disposals.

The B-line

The Crows are now taking every chance to get the ball in the corridor and while they had to go wide to find the first goal of the term, it worked the second.

The kick play meant Freo paniced defending Thilthorpe and gave away the free kick.

The home side get lucky as he shanks the set shot badly.

Crows sub

Sid Draper is into the match for the Crows for Matt Crouch.

He was a top five draft pick in 2024.

Thilthorpe will stay on after injuring his hand in a marking contest against Treacy.
