Follow live: West Coast Eagles in tough road clash with GWS before Fremantle Dockers host Western Bulldogs

It’s a big Sunday for our WA clubs, with West Coast facing a monster challenge on the road against GWS before Fremantle host the Western Bulldogs.
Follow all the action below, with the Eagles to begin at 11.10am (WA time) before Freo’s 3.10pm bouncedown.

Fremantle’s defence has earned this spurt, holding up for most of the quarter and now the midfield is hitting their straps.
They have used forward handballs to great effect in traffic and once they release the Dogs defence can’t keep up.

Fremantle are all or nothing with counter attacks and when they avoid the silly skill errors they are very dangerous.

Running tight to the boundary in the near pocket he drops the ball onto the foot and spears it through the big sticks from the acute angle.
Fremantle have made some ugly mistakes through the middle and it came back to bite.

Fremantle came out of the break fumbly but finally got it together to hit Treacy on the chest.
He slots the set shot.
They’ve started to address the contest and are putting the Dogs’ defence under intense pressure.

The visitors had the better of the term in general play but when Fremantle slipped out the back they couldn’t be stopped.
The Dockers defenders did a good job to hold up under pressure before a few smart kicks through the corridor opened the door to goal.
Frederick has looked particulary dangerous in attack with two goals.
Darcy leads all-comers with 10 disposals while Clark has eight for Fremantle.

It matches Darcy’s second major at the other end.

Naughton gets the ball on a hit up and then kicks the ball to a spot Sam Darcy can use his height on Pearce and the Bulldog takes the grab.
