Last rites?

The Crows finally strung a coast-to-coast play together along the broadcast win and find Fogarty on the lead.

The big forward nails the shot and the Crows get a much-needed major.

Hawthorn are well on top at the moment.

Oh boy

O’Brien scuffs a quick out of the middle and the Hawks fly the other way for the first goal of the second half.

It was a simple kick but ruckman should not be getting handball receives.

Gunston gets his second on the fast break.

HALF-TIME: Adelaide 24, Hawthorn 43

The Crows have gone goalless in the second term and their finals campaign is on a knife’s edge.

They look like a team that has not played many finals and are constantly making the poor decisions.

The Hawks, meanwhile, know just how to punish mistakes and are relishing the opportunities.

Massive term for Hawk Josh Ward who goes to the main break with 17 disposals and four clearances.

Nicks with some thinking to do.

Just a little Moore!

That one hurts.

The Crows tried to be cute getting out of defence but the kick falls short and ends up with Newcombe.

The Hawks handball the ball forward and it ends with an easy goal to Moore.

The Crows are also goalless for the term.

Tex off

Walker is just a step short of his best so far tonight.

He had the chance to close the gap to a single goal but missed a shot to the right.

He was slightly off last week as well but has plenty of time to lift.

He’s had just four touches in the match.

Hawks sniffing

Hawthorn are sniffing blood as Adelaide attempt to hold on.

The Hawk’s attack is looking dangerous, especially when the visitors are going fast.

Adelaide are still yet to find control. The Hawks don’t look great with slow play so the Crows need to start adjusting.

QUARTER TIME: Adelaide 20, Hawthorn 28

Take a breath!

Adelaide and the Hawthorn have put on a show through one quarter and ended up pretty even.

An eight-point lead to the visitors is a fair refelction of the term with the Hawks finishing and starting strongly.

Adelaide rescued momentum through the middle stages but need to find some dominance around the footy.

Newcombe had 11 touches and Battle 10.

Worrel leads the Crows with nine.

All square

The minor premiers have arrived!

The Crows were jumped out of the gate but they’ve started to win the ball around the ground and get their users into the contest.

Captain Jordan Dawson has made a bright start after plenty of responsibility was dumped on his shoulders during the week.

ThilTHORpe

Big Riley Thilthorpe has amassed a cult following this season and gets the home fans out of their seats with the Crows’ first.

It took a strong clunk and nailed the set shot.

By the way, there is a sign in the crowd displaying the giant forward as Thor.

Car crash start

The Crows have been hit with a sledgehammer.

Hawthorn are bringing the heat as Amon gets the third goal from a 60-metre pot shot.

The Crows can’t get the ball and when they do they are getting hunted like panicked animals.

The home side must slow the game for five minutes and establish their style.
