Sydney Swans superstar Chad Warner spotted in training scuffle with brother Corey
Sydney superstar Chad Warner and his brother Corey had to be separated by new coach Dean Cox during a feisty match simulation at training on Friday.
The pair wrestled after Corey, the younger of the two, took issue with heavy contact from Chad, who was playing for the opposition.
Cox, who was swiftly announced as Swans coach after John Longmire’s shock resignation in November, separated the siblings before the simulation continued.

Chad, 23, has previously spoken about what it was like growing up as one of four boys alongside Corey, 21, and younger brothers Ashton and Troy.
“There’s four of us boys, and we’d usually go myself and the fourth one (Troy) in the team versus Corey and the third one (Ashton),” Warner told The Age in September.
“It’d get pretty nasty at times, but that’s what it’s all about.
“Our front yard was pretty big, so we’d either go cricket or basketball, and then we invented this one game where it’s on the grass and the basketball ring comes on the grass, and then it’s football, but mixed with basketball.
“So you play football, but then you score in the basketball hoop, so it’s pretty much just tackle basketball, that’s all it was.”
Both Chad and Corey are out of contract at the Swans at the end of 2025, with West Coast and Fremantle both interested in luring the All-Australian home next season.
