A first-innings capitulation has left Australia needing to bat most of the last day to save the Test match, but South Africa will be fired up as they need to win to keep the series alive.
Steve Smith is still to bat after sliding down the order due to a neck concern but the Aussies still trail by 170 runs and need to pass that mark just to make the home side bat again.

Another set back
Play was set to start in five minutes but the covers are coming back out onto the ground.
The Aussies have a very powerful dance going somewhere in the dugouts.
Movement
The logs that hold the covers down are starting to move.
Hopefully, they can stay off because the forecast is for decent weather.
Covers stay
The drizzle is stop start so the covers are staying on for the moment.
Players are still padded up and ready to go though.
Delay
A swirl of rain has come over the ground and the start of play will be delayed.
But it won’t be a long break with the covers being removed already.
The Aussies will take any delay they can get.
Smith update
Steve Smith is set to bat today after sliding down the order with a neck injury.
However, the Australians are still unsure of he will come in at the next fall of wicket or after Alex Carey.
Play is about 10 minutes away and the weather looks fine.
Welcome!
This is a massive day for the Australians!
They have a lot of work to do to make up for being rolled for 99 yesterday and save this match.
A draw would also ensure that they can not lose the series or the trophy they currently hold.
The Proteas will come at them with everything and this is set to be a great day of Test cricket!
