Under edge

Marco Jansen fishes at a wide full delivery first ball and gets an under edge through the slips for four.

He’s not going to be digging in with Bavuma.

How’s that!

Starc goes short to Mulder and it gets very close to gloves as he bails out of a shot.

Australia review but the first replay shows it glance off the helmet on the way to Renshaw at first slip.

However, Ultraedge shows a spike as the ball passed the gloves!

Brutal delivery from Star and Mulder departs for an unlucky 13.

It’s also wicket 450 for the big left-armer!

SA 6-110

Change of angle

Starc is into the attack and looking to push across Mulder as he did late last night.

The all-rounder got through by the skin of his teeth to end day two but the going looks easier so far this morning.

SA 5-110

Short-ball challenge

Cummins gets his bouncer spot on and the Proteas skipper has to bail on the pull shot.

It was perfectly directed but Bavuma did very well to quash his instincts to pull it.

SA 5-106

Pretty flat

Neither Boland or Cummins have got any real seam out of the wicket early here.

Boland has got a shadow of movement but it’s more that his length is just challenging.

SA 5-103

Boland on

Scott Boland gets first rights for the day as he has 4-31 from his 14 overs.

He has been dangerous in every over he has bowled.

SA 5-97

Early start

With all the rain on the first two days, we are starting early.

Meaning the players are ready to go now!

Hazlewood update

Josh Hazlewood is expected to play today after being ill yesterday.

He may have eaten something funky.

He will likely need to wait until after Lunch to bowl however after being off the field for 30 overs last night.

Welcome!

We are set to get a full day of cricket for the first time in the Test match!

The weather is good in Gqeberha but a bit cold for the players.

South Africa resume the day at 5-97 and the tourists will be eager to roll them for 150.

Scott Boland v Temba Bavuma will be the key match-up this morning.
