The Ashes live scores: Follow the action from the Third Test’s Day 1 at Adelaide Oval

Cricket: It’s now or never for England - and perhaps the future of Bazball as a philosophy - as the Third Test begins in Adelaide.
Australia can wrap up the series with a win, and even a draw will see them retain the urn at worst this summer.
There’s changes for both sides, with the Aussies recalling two of their greatest-ever bowlers in Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon at the expense of Michael Neser and Brendan Doggett.
England bring in Josh Tongue for Gus Atkinson as their sole difference from Brisbane, backing in the batting unit that has largely failed in the opening two Tests of the series.

Smith OUT
Jake Santa Maria is reporting live.
18th Over - AUS 2-57
FOUR! On the pads from Tongue and Khawaja just pings it square for a boundary.
Can Khawaja settle now after that life?
He pushes a single into the off-side with some fast running.
Labuschagne gets behin th rest.
You have to take those
50 up for Australia
Khawaja plays one through the gulley for two to bring up the team 50.
DROPPED! Harry Brook spills an easy chance at second slip as Khawaja goes for an expansive drive.
Poor shot and poor fielding to offset Crawley’s blinder from earlier as he just parries it behind diving when he probably could have stayed on his feet.
Labuschagne gets a single off the last.
15th Over - AUS 2-48
Stokes is just struggling with his footing here as he pulls out of his delivery stride.
He then oversteps, still trying to find his landing.
FOUR! On the hip, and Labuschagne tickles it fine to the boundary.
SHOT! Overpitched and Labuschagne steps out and pings the cover drive through the gap for four.

14th Over - AUS 2-39
Labuschagne swivels a pull for one as Tongue gets on the hip, there is a leg slip in place if he gets that wrong.
Khawaja goes for an aggressive pull but it’s not short enough as he bottom edges onto his pads.
Leaves the last.
13th Over - AUS 2-38
Stokes takes the ball, has been England’s best bowler so far this Ashes.
He starts wide outside off, which Labuschagne leaves.
He drops shorts and Labuschagne whips nicely off the hips for a single.
Khawaja defends the rest.
First bowling change
Josh Tongue replaces Carse.
He’s bowling from wide of the crease and trying to spear it into Khawaja.
He’s too wide to make Kahwaja play though until the last which he defends into the legside.
That’s drinks aith AUS 2-37 from 12 overs.
WICKET Head ct Crawley b Carse
WHAT A CATCH!
Half volley outside off and Head crunches a drive but Zak Crawley dives across to take it one-handed with a terrific grab.
After a poor start England are well on top now and it’s up to Usman Khawaja to dig Australia out of a hole.
Nervous start for Labuschagne
He edges his fourth ball from Archer but soft hands see it bounce short of Root at first slip.
WICKET Weatherald ct Smith b Archer 18
Archer goes short, and it gets big on Weatherald, who tries to pull at 147kph.
It just lobs up off the top edge, allowing Jamie Smith to jog forward and take an easy catch.
It’s the third time Archer has got Weatherald in five innings.
Huge breakthrough for England, with Archer now likely to get his tail up.
