India are looking to grind Australia into dust in sweltering conditions on day three, can the Aussies claw their way back into the contest?

The Aussies looked lifeless yesterday and the pitch seems to have settled down. If they can’t break this mighty opening stand early it could be a long day in the field for the home side in the stifling heat.

Follow all the action live!

102nd over - IND 5/335

Sundar takes a sharp single but likely would have been home even if the throw had hit.

Kohli drives aggressively but the man on the rope keeps it to one.

101st over - IND 5/334

Kohli drives and a misfield from Lyon gives him one.

Drop and run gives Sundar a single.

SHOT! Kohli reaches into his T20 kit to uppercut Starc to third man for six.

Oh No! a security guard watching the crowd is hit on the head after the ball bounces up off the rope. He looks in some discomfort as the Aussie physio cheacks him out.

100th over - IND 5/326

Kohli gets a single off the first. Lyon bowls an absolute ripper with one that bounces and turns just past Sundar’s edge.

99th over - IND 5/325

Starc replaces Cummins.

Kohli is in two minds and nearly repeats his first innings dismissal as it runs off the face but bounces to slip.

There’s some indecisive running but they sneak a single off the last after a midfield

98th over - IND 5/324

Kohli gets a single into the legside.

Sundar gets off the mark with a drive down the ground.

97th over - IND 5/321

Washington Sundar comes to the crease and sees off his first three delivers.

It’s been a good hour after lunch for Australia but they are so far behind the game.

Review can’t save Jurel

Cummins strikes Jurel on the pads and is given!

He doesn’t seem happy and line might be the issue.

It’s umpire’s call as the ball is just shaving the leg stump and Jurel has to go!

96th over - IND 4/321

Jurel gets off the mark after working a single off his hip.

Lyon gets Pant

Nathan Lyon returns after drinks from the Justin Langer end.

A wicket straight away!

Pant dances down and gets himself in a complete tangle as the ball spins away and Carey completes the stumping.

An ungainly looking shot that but it’s how he plays.
