Australia did it the hard way, but survived an almighty scare from Scotland to record a narrow win and save England from elimination at the T20 World Cup.

Recap the action in our blog below.

End of powerplay - Scotland 1-54

That’s a big past four overs for Scotland after an underwhelming start!

McMullen (24 off 16) and Munsey (26 off 17) are ticking along nicely now, including taking 11 off that past over from Nathan Ellis.

Australia need a wicket, and who better man to turn to than Adam Zampa?

BACK-TO-BACK SIXES

England... are just starting to clam up a little here!

Scotland have settled into their work nicely, with George Munsey supplying a BIG end to a Glenn Maxwell over with two sixes and a four.

The highlight is a reverse-sweep six that goes over cover... delightful.

Australia have a fight on their hands!

DROPPED!

Mitch Marsh is verrry close to pouching one in the left hand... with McMullen just surviving as the ball was a fraction too high at mid-off.

McMullen is then dropped again to end the over - a tough diving chance for Travis Head at cover that spills out.

They’re looking a little streaky against Starc but riding their luck for now.

It’s 1-25 after four.

End of third over - Scotland 1-15

Nathan Ellis takes over from Agar, and gets CARTED off his fourth ball of the over!

Brandon McMullen goes very, very high, with the wind, and over long-off for six.

That one was out of the box!

End of second over - Scotland 1-5

Mitchell Starc takes the new ball at the other end and is unbelievably close to joining Agar with a wicket of his own.

There’s a big shout for LBW, and a pair of deliveries that slice George Munsey in half.

On early evidence, there’s not too much for England to be worried about here...
