A full-strength Australia have won the toss and will bowl first against Bangladesh in their first match of the Twenty20 World Cup Super 8 stage.

For only the second time at the North American tournament, Australia will use their “big three” quicks Mitch Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood in tandem, in Antigua on Friday.

Back-up paceman Nathan Ellis and second spinner Ashton Agar drop out to accommodate the return of Cummins and Hazlewood, both rested from the last-start win over Scotland.

A HAT TRICK FOR PATRICK

Pat Cummins gets the hat trick!

After back-to-back wickets in his third over, the superstar strikes again with the first of his last.

After an attempted ramp shot, Towrid Hridoy was his final victim, taken comfortably by Hazlewood.

Cummins finished with 3-29 from his four, becoming the second Aussie man to take a T20 World Cup hat trick following Brett Lee.

Back-to-back wickets!

Pat Cummins is on a hat trick.

He’ll have to wait until his next over as he strikes with the final two overs of his third.

A pace-off delivery catches Mahmudullah’s bottom edge and he chops it on to his stumps.

The very next ball, Mahedi Hasan sends an upper cut straight to third man and Zampa takes the catch in the deep.

Bangladesh are limping to the finish line at 7-123.

Will they bat the full 20 overs?

Stoinis strikes

Straight up in the air and Stoinis gets Shakib Al Hasan (8 from 10) caught and bowled with a comfortable catch.

Bangladesh’s most experienced operator goes and everything currently feels a bit too easy for Australia at the moment.

5-103 after 16.1 overs.

Zampa wraps up

Adam Zampa has bowled his four overs.

He finishes with 2-24 after a boundary off his last ball, making it nine runs off his last six deliveries.

Bangladesh are 4-98 after 15 overs after their top order, with the exception of Najmul Hossain Shanto (41), failed to fire again.

Zampa strikes again

Adam Zampa gets the breakthrough and Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto is forced to depart for 41.

The leg spinner caught Shanto LBW after he mis-timed a sweep shot.

It’s a huge wicket for the Australians, with Bangladesh forced to rebuild their innings at 4-84.

Starc overs done

Mitchell Starc has bowled out his four overs.

The star seamer finishes with figures of 1-21, with an economy rate of 5.25.

His sole wicket was his 95th in men’s ODI and T20Is World Cups, a new world record.

Starc surpasses Sri Lanka legend Lasith Malinga, who took 94 wickets in 60 matches.

Starc reached 95 wickets in 52 matches - and he’s not done yet.

MAX IMPACT!

Maxi’s got one! Rishad never looked comfortable out there and tried to slip it into fifth gear from the get-go.

Tried to take Maxwell straight down the ground and an outside edge has flown to Zampa at short third-man. He goes for a wildly unconvicing two off four.

Ugly stuff.

Bangladesh 3-67 and an early drinks has been taken.

A loosener from Maxi

Maxwell has dragged one down as well, and Najmul had time to rock back and cut one forward-of-square for a boundary. Bangladesh have got back to ticking it over nicely.

Maxwell into the attack

Just the one over for Stoinis - but they seem to like what they’ve seen with Zampa, so it’s spin from both ends.
