Five adults have been charged over a wild brawl at a children’s football tournament.

The alleged fight broke out during an under 7s tournament at a park on Reserve St, Smithfield, in Sydney’s west, about 11.50am on Saturday.

Police separated the group involved with the help of other attendees and club officials.

A man and a woman had minor injuries and were treated by paramedics at the scene, but didn’t need to go to hospital.

Five people were arrested at the scene, including two women and three men.

Two women, aged 31 and 38, and two men, aged 39 and 42, were charged with affray, while a 30-year-old man was charged with offensive conduct.

All five were granted strict conditional bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on May 21.

Investigations are ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information about the brawl, or with dashcam or mobile phone footage, to come forward.
