St George Illawarra star Christian Tuipulotu has been ordered to put away his ‘show me the money’ celebration ... for good.

The in-form yet out-of-contract Tuipulotu has been breaking out the move whenever he scores a try this season.

But now, Dragons coach Shane Flanagan has said enough is enough.

“He won’t be doing them again, trust me,” Flanagan said.

“He will be told (on Wednesday), don’t you worry.

“I don’t know where it’s coming from but it won’t be happening anymore. We’ll address it.”

Tuipulotu first brought out the celebration in Round 1 this season and it has been reported he was told to put it away there and then.

But it surfaced again when scored another try in the thrilling loss to Souths in Round 2.

While fans seem to love it, part of the problem is that the Dragons are yet to win this season despite the fact Tuipulotu is the league’s leading try-scorer.

“It’s not required and the energy needs to be put back into other parts of his footy,” Flanagan said.

“We love his enthusiasm but it has to be directed into the right place – that’s to the team, not the fans.”

While the celebration would appear to be connected to his next contract, Flanagan said he was unclear on the meaning.

“I don’t know what it is – I haven’t asked him,” Flanagan said.

Fox League commentator Michael Ennis was not thrilled with the celebration when he witnessed it in Round 1.

“It’s an interesting celebration when you’re down by 18,” Ennis said at the time.

But Tuipulotu’s teammate Damien Cook said he loved his mate’s energy.

“He does bring the energy around the locker room,” Cook said.

“He’s a character of the game and we love him and that’s why the fans love him.”

The Dragons have a bye this weekend and are in real danger of recording another loss when they host the mighty Melbourne Storm in Round 4 on March 29.
