NRL champion Sam Burgess and Lucy Graham marry in Rome

NRL great Sam Burgess and Lucy Graham have married in a picture-perfect setting in Rome.

The loved-up couple have shared photos of the event which was in a famous 17th-century Baroque villa called Villa Aurelia.

A beaming Burgess looked sharp in a classic tuxedo while Graham dazzled in a plunging Champagne gown (by Paula Nadal).

Their one-year-old daughter, Robbie, matched her mother perfectly, and was not left out of the celebrations.

The wedding has been 15 months in the making after Graham, 33, and Burgess became engaged in June last year.

Needless to say, fans, friends, family and event organisers were captivated by the wedding.

Wedding planning specialists Isla And Smith said it was the “grand finale” to their “season”.

Burgess was previously married to Phoebe Burgess but they parted ways in 2019.
