NRL superstar Reece Walsh continues social media prank with another topless photo

Brisbane superstar Reece Walsh has the full backing of his coach after doubling down on his social media prank this week.
Walsh sent social media into overdrive earlier in the week when he posted a topless photo of himself.
He posed next to a giant black and white portrait of himself celebrating the 2025 grand final win, and thanked the artist for the work.

The 23-year-old was happily flaunting his chiseled six-pack. Or so it seemed.

Social media sleuths were quick to uncover another topless photo of Walsh taken last month, which didn’t have the same chisel around the abs region.
Despite his new physique being debunked, Walsh was back at it again on Thursday as the Broncos’ returned to pre-season training.
“First day back, definitely looking better than I’m feeling,” he wrote alongside a mirror selfie with even more pronounced abs.
“Sick of this all chat, IT IS REAL GUYS!” he added in another post.

While the photos appear to be altered, Walsh has returned to the club in top shape, according to coach Michael Maguire.
“He has a bit of fun,” Maguire said of the social media posts.
“It’s nice to see his personality and it keeps everyone entertained but he’s in good shape too, which is good.
“I think he understands he’s got a lot in his game that he can keep getting better at.”
Walsh is primed for a monster season after finishing last year in a blaze of glory.
Often criticised for inconsistent performances, Walsh found form at the back end of the year to help the Broncos end their 19-year premiership drought.
He dominated the grand final against the Storm to win the Clive Churchill Medal in a brilliant performance.
As well as excelling on the field, Walsh is no stranger to making headlines off it.
Last year, he posted a bizarre video of himself drinking toilet water at his newly renovated home.
That came just a few months after he was seen willingly punching a mate in the head in a video posted to his own TikTok account, with the vision infuriating Broncos bosses.
Walsh took it down not long after and later apologised.
