Paris 2024 Olympics RECAP: Matt Wearn, Nina Kennedy and Peter Bol highlight day 12
Australia is on course for its best-ever Olympics, can they keep up their golden run on day 12 while the Opals and Sharks face knock-out quarter-finals?

He opens up with a 66.89m.
Saved again
The Aussies are on their way out of the men’s water polo after another huge save from America.
Nick Porter kept the dream alive with a save straight after, and the Aussies locked the scores with one shot remaining.
But the Americans remain calm and break Aussie hearts, moving on with a score into the left-side of the net.
Trouble
The Aussie men have had their third penalty throw saved!
USA then score their third and Australia now must make a save and hope the Americans miss one.
Lyles second!
The American champion has been pipped by Tobogo in the men’s 200m semifinal.
Lyles was taking it easy but that insult may just fire him up for a record run in the final.
Shootout!?
The USA have levelled the score with the Sharks with 32 seconds on the board.
If scores stay locked at 7-7 we will go straight to a shootout.
Sharks on the hunt
Australia are on the back foot after USA take a one goal advantage.
There is still plenty of time left to play in the final, but Sharks are chasing for the first time in the match.
Kennedy clears 4.70m
After hitting the bar on her first attempt, medal contender Nina Kennedy clears the 4.70m mark.
Scores level heading into the fourth
Its all tied up between Austrlia and USA, with the win being decided in the final as both teams sit at 5-5.
Just one quarter seperates a side from heading to the semifinal.
Kennedy falters first 4.70
In her first attempt at the 4.70m height, medal favourite Nina Kennedy hit the bar.
She had to wait between attempts after all the other jumpers had second and third goes at the 4.60m.
