Relive the best of the action here!
This is heated
Tafa is furious and the fans are just as angry. Tafa gets in the face of Walker and has to be pulled apart. Tafa is not taking this lightly. Walker is getting booed by the crowd heaily here.
Controversial Finish
Junior Tafa and Valter Walker went at it in the heavyweight division. Tafa landed a big blow that dropped Walker. He then took it to the ground and just as Tafa looked to get out he landed a leg lock. But there doesn’t appear to be a tap from Tafa as the referee stops the fight in the dying seconds of the first round.
Culibao loses
The third round started as a stand-up back and forth. Both men landed some blows but Ramos decided to get a takedown with 90 seconds left and had plenty of control time. He did little with it except getting top mount late in the fight. Ramos wins by split decision, which has left a lot fans unhappy. Culibao is also not pleased. The third round control time was the difference.
Second Round
That was all Culbao. He hammered the legs of Ramos who can barely stand. Ramos tried to lie there but Josh stayed on his feet and didn’t get sucked in. Eventualy the referee had to stand Ramos up and Culibao went to work again. Could be 19-19 after two.
First Round
Not a great round for Culibao. He was good early but made a mistake and Ramos pounced. Ramos had his back for a long time but the Sydney fighter managed to avoid several attempts at a rear-naked choke. Probably still lost that round.
Culibao v Ramos
Sydney’s Josh Culibao is in action next. He is up against Ricardo Ramos. Culibao won in Perth last year with a second-round submission. Can he do it again?
O’Neill Wins
The Aussies are on a roll! Casey O’Neill backs up wins by Nolan and Jenkins with a hard-fought decision win over Luana Santos. The third round was crazy. Santos was struggling on the feat, got a takedown but instantly gave up her bck and couldn’t get control for the rest of the fight. And O’Neill awkwardly celebrates with a RayGun inspired breakdance.
Second Round
A lot more even here. O’Neill still looks better on the stand up but Santos got some good ground control. It might be 2-0 to the Aussie, but she wouldn’t want to take this one to the judges’ scorecards.
First Round
O’Neill gets the better of the exchanges and managed to escape a submission attempt.
There wasn’t too much damage done, but O’Neill definitely looks the better in the stand up.
O’Neill v Santos
We have our only women’s fight on the card with Australia’s Casey O’Neill against Luana Santos.
