UFC mania has again hit Perth, with a packed RAC Arena playing host to a huge slate of fights on Sunday morning.

First Round

Gamrot dominates for much of the fight early and has Hooker bloodied. But the New Zealander rallied and dropped the Polish wrestler late in the round. Gamrot spent the rest of the round trying to avoid the stand-up and take the fight to the ground. Hard one to call.

Tuivasa loses

Rozenstruik gets a split decision win over Tuivasa. That is the Australian’s fifth consecutive loss and leaves him with a 14-8 record. Tuivasa just couldn’t land enough big blows when it mattered.

Round Two

A really good round for Rozenstruik. Tuivasa got caught in some serious combos and looked rattled. The worst came when he appeared to hurt his foot on a leg kick. This opened the door for Rozenstruik who really laid in some combos. Tuivasa needs a finish here or a d ominant round you feel.

That almsot felt like a feeling out round. Some big shots thrown but nothing of note landed. Rozenstruik isn’t afraid to have a crack. Tuivasa tried to throw leg kicks but missed a lot of them.

Brutal KO

Prates wins against Li with a brutal KO. Li was copping punishment but wouldn’t go down until finally he landed a left hook that floored “The Leech”. And he out before he hit the mat.

That was an awesome first round. Prates dropped Jingliang a couple of times but the Chinese star didn’t stop. A tactical masterclass from both.

Here we go. The main card is about to start. It’s a welterweight banger with Carlos Prates up against Jingliang Li.

The claim is that Tafa tapped out verbally. Tafa isn’t convinced and Walker is booed out of the Arena.
