Authorities have not yet released details about the aircraft, however, there is speculation that it was a light plane.

Nearby homes were evacuated as the inferno erupted in the tree-dense neighbourhood.

Authorities have confirmed no one was in the home, however, they have not provided details on how many people were in the aircraft and if they survived.

Governor Tim Walz, Kamala Harris’ running mate in the 2024 US election, said: “My team is in touch with local officials on the scene in Brooklyn Park.”

“We are monitoring the situation closely.

“Grateful to the first responders answering the call.”
