Coldplay kiss cam: Former astronomer CEO Andy Byron and wife Megan seen together for first time since scandal
The Coldplay kiss cam scandal may have cost Astronomer CEO Andrew Byron his job but new photos show it may not have cost him his marriage.
He has been spotted with his apparently very forgiving wife, Megan, for the first time since he was busted by lead singer Chris Martin cuddling up to his HR chief Kristin Cabot at the band’s Boston concert on July 15.
The couple’s shocked and seemingly guilty reaction after being broadcast on the stadium’s big screen, with Cabot covering her face with her hands and Bryon ducking out of frame, became a viral moment that gripped the globe.

Now, it appears Byron and wife Megan, who reportedly switched her surname to her maiden name of Kerrigan on social media after footage of the cringeworthy incident sparked an internet storm, are trying to work through their marriage woes.
On Friday, Daily Mail paparazzi snapped a series of exclusive photos of the pair looking relaxed and happy — and wearing their wedding rings.
The couple were seen enjoying a sunset picnic on the beach near their luxury home in Kennebunk, Maine. It is the same place mother of two Megan holed up as the cheating scandal went nuclear.
Both Byron and Cabot resigned from their roles and Astronomer hired Chris Martin’s ex-wife to appear in an ad in PR ploy to help restore its tarnished reputation.
Two months on, Byron, 51, looked very different from his clean cut look of the Coldplay concert, appearing unshaven in a t-shirt and with a backwards cap covering his white hair
Sitting on deckchairs the couple spent hours talking and snacking before leaving together.
The next morning they were photographed again, this time out for an early morning walk.
When approached by the Daily Mail at a grocery story, Byron reportedly did not respond to questions about the state of his marriage before leaving and driving off.
It comes after Andrew Cabot, the husband of Kristin Cabot, last week broke his silence about the scandal.
Kristin filed for divorce less than a month after the Coldplay concert, but Mr Cabot, the CEO of Privateer Rum, said their split was already in motion before the incident made headlines.
“Their decision to divorce was already under way prior to that evening,” Andrew’s spokesperson told People.
The spokesperson added the pair had “privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert,” and stressed, “No further public comment will be made.”
The divorce was Andrew Cabot’s third and Kristin Cabot’s second.
