Formula One Red Bull boss Christian Horner issues Mother’s Day post to Geri Halliwell following scandal
Under-fire F1 boss Christian Horner paid special tribute to his wife Geri Halliwell on Mother’s Day yesterday as he continues to weather the scandal about “inappropriate behaviour” involving a female Red Bull colleague.
The Red Bull racing team boss, 50, shared photos of the former Spice Girl, 51, with their seven-year-old son Monty, and one of his mother, Sara. He captioned the Instagram images: “Happy Mother’s Day – so appreciative of the mums in our family for everything they do. We’re always grateful, today and every day.”
Horner kept his £8 million($A15.5 million)-a-year job after he was cleared of misconduct by an independent investigation last month, with many of the comments on his post linking the kind words for his wife to the allegations.

The suspension came after hundreds of WhatsApp messages allegedly exchanged between Horner and the woman, some sexual in nature, were leaked to the press by an anonymous email account.
Horner had previously thanked his “very supportive wife”, who recently attended the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, for standing by him amid the claims.
The couple married in 2015.
